Come ready to party! Join us for a day filled with live music, local bites and sips, colorful kites, and family-friendly fun. Enjoy kite decorating, friendly competitions, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Your admission includes a kite-making kit, live music, wine by William Chris Vineyards (for those over 21), Rambler sparkling water and access to family-friendly activities!
Local food and additional beverages will be available for purchase from Standard Provisions, Junebug’s Barbecue, Bakery JoJu, Pontotoc Vineyard Picnic Table, Witcher Craft Brewing Co., Sure Shot and more! Plus helicopter rides by Tango 82 Aviation!
Don’t forget to bring your favorite kite to fly and be sure to enter our 50-yard Kite Dash!
All event proceeds benefit Fredericksburg Parks Foundation, who's mission is to help revitalize existing parks and recreational spaces, support innovative project that enhance our community, provide healthy outlets for our youth and promote the rich history of our area.
Movie in The Park | Disney's Coco

Join Us for the First-Ever Movie in the Park | Family-Friendly and FREE!
The Fredericksburg Parks Foundation is excited to invite you to our inaugural Movie in the Park on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 at Marktplatz, right after the Farmer’s Market!
We’ll be showing the family favorite, Hook, starting at sundown (around 8:30pm).
Feel free to BYOB, and don’t forget to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs!
Popcorn & still/sparkling water will be available for a suggested donation!
