Parky in the Park is BACK and will be on Saturday, October 10th at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park! This is a FREE, family-friendly event open to ALL!
What is Party in the Park?
Party in the Park is the Fredericksburg Parks Foundation’s annual fundraiser — an open-air celebration of community, creativity, and connection designed to support and enhance local parks and recreational spaces. Inspired by beloved traditions like Blues on the Green and ABC Kite Fest, this family-friendly event brings together live music, food and drink, hands-on activities, and outdoor fun for all ages. Set against the natural beauty of Fredericksburg’s Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Party in the Park aims to cultivate a shared appreciation for the outdoors while raising vital funds for park revitalization, youth programs, and community-driven initiatives that help our public spaces thrive.
What can I expect this year?
This year, we’ll have LIVE MUSIC by the greatest classic country band in the game today — The Texases! Check them out HERE!
We’ll have food and beverage available for purchase and/or donation by Eaker Barbecue, Bakery Joju, Clear River Creamery, The Pharmacy, William Chris Vineyards, Heath Family Brands, Michael Ros Winery, Slate Theory Winery, Pontotoc Vineyard and Safari Winery!
Be sure to bring your favorite kite, and don’t miss our 50 yard kite dash! Don’t have a kite? Not to worry — We’ll have kite making kits available! + Face paint, frisbees, and so much more…

⏰ Arrive early — good spots go fast! Set up your blanket or lawn chairs and get settled before the show begins. The movie starts at sundown, around 8:30 PM.
